Life is better together

Small Life Groups

We are created to be in community.

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42 ESV)

We believe that life is better when it’s shared with others. Telling stories, sharing meals, and enjoying life with others makes a huge difference. That’s why Life Groups exist! A Life Group is a small group of 8-12 people who meet weekly or bi-weekly (by Zoom right now, but typically in homes) to build relationships, grow spiritually, and share in life together. Whatever age or stage of life you are in, Life Groups are a place where you can connect deeply with God and one another.

Life Group FAQ

What are Life Groups?

Life Groups are gatherings of 6-12 adults meeting weekly  for about 60 – 75 minutes for the purpose of fellowship and spiritual growth.

What does a Life Group Meeting look like?

Though each group differs in how they do things, many groups enjoy an initial time of fellowship and sharing important things going on in their lives, then transition to a time when they study a lesson based on scripture or the prior weeks sermon and close in prayer.  Each group decides how much time they will spend on fellowship, study, and prayer.

How are Life Groups different from Sunday Morning Learning Groups?

While similar, Life Groups typically have more focus on fellowship and caring for each other while Learning Groups are more focused on bible study and learning.  Many people who participate in our existing Life Groups also attend a Sunday Morning Learning Groups.

Who will lead these groups?

A small group of your fellow church members have received training and will serve as the Life Group Host to coordinate and facilitate the meetings.
