Pastoral Team
Rev. Dr. Owen K Ross
Senior Pastor
Dr. Ross came to First Coppell in 2025 after 8 years on the Bishop’s Cabinet leading church development and multiplication. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, planter of a Spanish-language church, and adjunct professor of evangelism, Dr. Ross is deeply committed to proclaiming in word and deed the good news of Jesus Christ in a diverse and hurting world.
Rev. Dr. Sumesh Jacob
Pastor of Discipleship and Care Ministries
Pastor Sumesh joined First Coppell in July 2020. With more than a decade of ministry experience–first in India and now here–he serves families and individuals as they grow in Christ.
Rev. Caleb Brimmage
Pastor of Missions and Outreach
Pastor Caleb joined First UMC Coppell in 2022. With 10 years in ministry, Caleb has worked in both student and adult ministry. As a Deacon in the UMC, Caleb is called to be a bridge between the church and the community.
