About Music Ministries
The Music Ministries at First Coppell provide an exciting and dynamic opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ. From vocal to instrumental, classical to contemporary, and traditional to modern, our Music Ministries enable worshipers of all ages and talents to support our church with their gifts, services, and witness through choirs, orchestras, praise bands, handbells, ensembles, and solo work.
In addition to serving and leading in Sunday morning services, our Music Ministries provide special programs including concerts, camps, and community activities.

Student Opportunities
The Collective
Students (6th-12th) are invited to join the vocal group. We rehearse every Sunday at 3:30 pm in the choir room.Â
BELLievers
Students (6th-12th) are invited to join the handbell choir. We rehearse every Sunday at 4:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Â
Spirare
Students (6th-12th) are invited to join the instrumental ensemble. We rehearse every Sunday at 4:30 pm in the Sanctuary. Â

Adult Opportunities
Chancel Choir
If you have a desire to create music with others to share the glory of God, this is your place! Our adult choir is a non-audition group that primarily leads in our Traditional Worship service each Sunday morning and presents a variety of programs thought the year. A wide variety of musical abilities are welcome — no experience necessary. Come join one of our regularly scheduled rehearsals to learn more.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm in the Choir Room.
Adult Handbell Choir
Do you love music and would like to praise God through ringing? Join one of our three adult handbell choirs. We will play in worship and other community events! For more information please email Anastasia Markina at amarkina@fumccoppell.org.
Wesley Ringers
 This beginning adult handbell choir meets on Sundays from 5:10 pm in the Sanctuary. No experience required!Â
Shalom Ringers
This intermediate handbell choir meets on Sundays 6:00 – 6:50 pm in the Sanctuary. Ability to read music and previous ringing experience required.Â
JuBELLation Ringers
This advanced handbell choir is audition only. We meet on Sundays 7:00 – 7:50 pm in the Sanctuary.Â
Modern Worship Band
If you have a desire to create music with instruments to share the glory of God, this is your place! Our Modern Worship band leads in our Modern Worship service each Sunday morning. Contact Dan Alle for more information at dalle@fumccoppell.org.
Student Worship Team
The student worship team meets on Sundays from 6:30-7:15 pm during the Fall and Spring semester. Students with any level of experience are welcome. Our goal is to empower our youth to lead worship by teaching them about all aspects connected to our worship experience. This includes musical and audio/visual education.
