Every $130 donated will provide a bike and a helmet for a child. To donate you can give on the church website and note “Bike Drive” or text FUMCC BIKE to 73256.

Methodist Children’s Home Gifts and Prayers
First Coppell is partnering with Methodist Children’s Home again this Christmas to provide kids in Foster Care/Family Solutions with clothes and gifts that will make their season bright! If you or your family would like to “adopt” and shop for a child, please sign up below. You do not have to purchase everything on a child’s list but we encourage you to have 3 items for each child. We also strongly encourage you to lift the child you have signed up for in your prayers and to include a card with a word of prayer with the gift. Please wrap and tag all gifts!
November 12th Wednesday to December 8th Monday
UWF Frozen Casserole Drive
Join the United Women in Faith (UWF) this December in supporting the Wesley Rankin Community Center’s Casa Feliz program in West Dallas, which serves older adults through connection and care.
We’re collecting frozen soups and casseroles (low-sodium, low-fat, full of veggies, and possibly vegan) to bless seniors before Christmas. Please label each dish with ingredients and cooking instructions. Pans and lids will be available for pick up in Wesley Hall (by the donut counter) on Sundays 11/16, 11/23, and 12/7. The soup or casserole can be stored in the Ministry Center freezer anytime between 11/23 and 12/14.
November 16th Sunday to December 14th Sunday
Metrocrest Thanksgiving Dinner
FUMC Coppell partners with Metrocrest Social Services to provide groceries and a holiday meal to the families of children who are on the free or reduced lunch program during the school year. There are two ways to volunteer: pick up food at Metrocrest or distribute food to families. Contact: Sally McCurdy, sallymccurdy@verizon.net.

We will provide 100 Christmas gifts for CCA clients with children. The Giving Tree will be set up in church on November 23 with ornaments. Choose an ornament, go shopping, and put the unwrapped gift under the tree by December 8.

UWF Cookie Jamboree
Come get your Cookie hunger satisfied for the same $10/”your curated box” price for the last 30+ years! Dallas Bethlehem Center in south Dallas and Wesley Rankin Community Center in west Dallas have historically been connected to United Women in Faith as places where underserved children, youth and adults find learning, nourishment, fellowship and support. Our annual Cookie Jamboree will help undergird these two centers which can lead to transformed communities. Our goal is to make $2,200. You can also help us by baking, setting up and selling.
