The Cookie Jamboree began as a fund raiser for United Methodist Women in 1986. It is always held in December in preparation for Christmas. Being able to select from dozens of different types of cookies has always been the most fun part. Families buy for holiday entertaining, neighborhood gift-giving and personal nibbling! Proceeds go to different missions each year chosen by members of UMW. This year the funds raised will be used to support Wesley Rankin Center and Dallas Bethlehem Center.
YOU can help by baking cookies and donating them for the sale. Bring your labeled cookies/sweets in a foil lined box or pan to the church on Saturday, December 3 between 11 am and 1 pm (enter at the Chapel door) or Sunday, December 4 by 8:30 am. Please leave them in Room 301 off Wesley Hall. Please note on your label if there are nuts.
The sale is on Sunday, December 4 from 9-11 am (or until cookies run out) in Wesley Hall and the Ministry Center. You purchase a box for $10 and then fill it with your favorites.
