Our Mission
GUIDED BY FAITH, DRIVEN BY PURPOSE
Church and Society of First UMC Coppell seeks to join in God’s mission by creating systemic impact and fostering lasting change through advocacy and education, pursuing justice and mercy for all people. Our current focus is to advocate for public education and eradicating poverty in our community and beyond.
Advocacy and education
This past March, we hosted a community forum for Coppell residents in collaboration with Communities United for Public Education to explore the key factors contributing to the funding challenges, including state funding formulas and legislative decisions, and discuss how the Coppell ISD community can navigate these challenges through local initiatives and advocacy.
