| The goal of the Coppell Cares Weekend Backpack Program is to help eliminate food insecurity for the children who attend CISD schools. This program, under the Coppell Cares umbrella, provides nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack items to eligible CISD children (and siblings) to feed these children over the weekend during the school year when they are not receiving meals at school. Because of your generosity, during the 2023-2024 school year, we provided more than 248 eligible children with weekend meals —more than 35,700 meals plus snacks. Your donations continue to help eliminate food insecurity for children in our community. Your continued generosity will allow us to continue to feed our children in the upcoming school year. You can give by making checks payable to FUMC with memo “WKBP” or you can TEXT 2 GIVE. Text FUMCC to 73256. You will receive a link and simply follow the instructions.
