| Our October Mission of the Month is Touch a Life. Touch A Life is a not-for-profit caring for 100 children, ages 4-18+ who have been rescued from child slave labor and are living at the Care Center full time. Touch A Life is the only long-term rehabilitation and education center for trafficked children in Ghana, West Africa. This year, we set a goal to raise $2,400 to purchase a commercial hybrid gas/electric stove and a deep freeze for food storage. They have used a residential stove since opening over ten years ago, and it’s time to upgrade their kitchen. Help North Texas Conference and UMCOR sustain long-term tornado recovery in Jack County for individuals who lost or sustained damage to their homes. |
