Event Details

Each Thanksgiving, FUMC Coppell partners with Metrocrest Social Services to provide groceries and a holiday meal to the families of children who are on the free or reduced lunch program during the school year. Below are several different ways you can help this Thanksgiving.

Food Drive – Please bring items to designated bin in the hall by Rosenburg Chapel (by the wheelchair ramp) by Thursday, November 19. Items needed are:

Canned meats (chili, beef stew, ravioli with meat, tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.)

Canned fruits

Canned soups

Canned pumpkin

Canned cranberry

Instant potatoes

Rice (box or bag)

Pasta (box or bag)

Boxed macaroni & cheese


Peanut butter

Sugar or flour (1 or 2 pound bags)

Baking mixes, muffins, cornbread

Deliver – on Saturday, November 21 we will be delivering the food and there are two ways to volunteer. Please sign up at Metrocrest Thanksgiving 2020
