Rev. Harry Coleman’s Bio:
The Rev. Harry Coleman has been attending FUMC Coppell since moving to the area in 2021.  Rev. Coleman grew up in West Virginia and graduated from WVU before earning his Master’s degree at Boston University School of Theology. After serving several churches in the Baltimore-Washington Conference, including campus ministries and teaching sociology at the collegiate level, in 1979 Rev. Coleman was tapped to lead University UMC in Indianapolis. There he became the longest-serving pastor in that churches’ illustrious history. After 14 years at University, he was appointed to be a District Superintendent in the South Indiana Conference. Upon Rev. Coleman’s retirement in 1995, he moved back to West Virginia before relocating to Coppell to be closer to family.  Here at FUMC Coppell, Rev. Coleman is a beloved member of the Allcomer’s Sunday School Class. We look forward to hearing him preach in our “One Message” Series on April 2!
