Amigos Days – is a hands-on ministry of the United Methodist Church that partners with inner-city Methodist Host Churches to repair and restore homes.  Future work dates are being planned.

/files/Store Downloads/austin street.jpgAustin Street Shelter – is a shelter in Dallas that serves the area homeless.  FUMC Coppell has been faithfully providing food for this ministry for the homeless in Dallas every Saturday morning since 1992.

  • Saturdays at 4:15 am we provide sandwiches, boiled eggs, and fruit to the shelter
  • Christmas morning at 4:15 am we provide hot breakfast to the shelter
  • various other collections for the shelter are made throughout the year

 Christ’s Foundry - is a mission church of the North Texas Conference located in a densely populated Spanish-speaking immigrant community north of Love Field in Dallas.

 Christian Community Action (CCA) - is an agency in Lewisville that ministers to the poor by feeding, educating, and training families in need.  FUMC Coppell supports this agency through donations of clothing, books and small appliances.

Habitat for Humanity - provides a pathway for harworking, low income families to realize their dreams of owning a home.  As a church, we have built 25 walls in our parking lot to be used in Habitat for Humanity houses throughout Dallas County.

  • FUMC Coppell participates in two reading weeks during the summer at a site
  • Provides meals for summer interns twice during the summer months.

Reading dates: June 7th-10th and July 19th-22nd, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm at Chapel Hill UMC.

Dinner for interns: June 13th and July 18th
