Donations Needed for Women’s Mission Project
The mission project for our Women’s Retreat in March will be the preparation of small bags of “spa products” to be given to a women’s shelter.
Donations of small, unopened, travel-sized containers of toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, soap, bath gel, deodorant, dental floss, antibacterial gel, shampoo, conditioner, shave gel, hairspray, etc. would be very much appreciated.
Other useful items for women who are displaced might be disposable facial cleansing cloths, eye makeup remover pads, unopened tubes of chap stick, lipstick, nail polish, or samples of make up or skin care. Small combs, brushes, and ponytail holders would also be helpful.
We are also in need of small individual bags to fill with these items to give to the women in the shelter. These could be bags that you have received from a cosmetics “special” or any other bag that would hold several of the above items.
There will be a special pink collection box by the Women’s Retreat table on Sundays.
