Ministries Overview
Ministries is the learning and fellowship opportunities for all ages.
For Adults we offer Sunday School Classes as varied in make-up as our community. We have something for every adult from singles to empty nesters; young parents to senior adults. We also offer a wide variety of opportunities for adults to connect in fellowship Study Groups which include short-term and long-term bible studies for the new seeker to the serious Bible Student. We also offer special study and fellowship for our Older Adults of 65 or older.
We believe that all Children are a sacred gift from God. We understand that the role of helping children to grow in their spirituality and develop into true disciples of Christ is a blessed call. Therefore we provide a wide variety of classes, fellowship groups and retreats for children. At First United Methodist Church Coppell, we truly believe in “Helping God’s Children to Grow”. We also provide our Loving HANDS Ministry to Children with Special Needs.
There are many opportunities for our Youth. From Sunday morning classes, Wednesday evening fellowship, smaller groups, breakfast club, sports and recreation, special summer activities and many mission trips and retreats like Camp Pike. Check out Youth Ministries for details.
