Youth Choir and Handbells
Youth Choir
This choir is comprised of Middle School and High School youth (grades 6-12). They sing at the 8:30 am Sunday morning worship service the second Sunday of the month and at the 11:00 am Sunday morning worship service the fourth Sunday of the month. They rehearse Sunday afternoons from 4:30-6:00 pm in the Rotunda.
Exaltation Ringers
This handbell choir is made up of advanced-level youth (grades 9-12). They play occasionally in worship and rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 pm in the choir loft.
Chapel Ringers
This handbell group is made up of intermediate-level students (middle school). They play occasionally in worship and rehearse on Sunday evenings from 6:00-6:30 pm in the choir loft.
Youth Praise Band
This band is a collection of youth that love to worship God through contemporary music. All are welcome and encouraged to come. They currently lead worship once a month at UMYF.
Youth Music Tour
Every summer the youth music program tours the countryside to spread the gospel through song. The tour is open to all singers, ringers, and members of Ruach. This all-inclusive tour is usually around $500 and can be supplemented by fundraising through our Scrip program. Past tours have been to Atlanta, New York, Boston, Chicago and Orlando. Our 2009 tour will be to Nashville and Washington D.C.
